Higher Order Multiplexers 2/8 Multiplexer HTL T-011

The second Order Multiplexer HTL T-011 belongs to the 2-Mbit/s hierarchy. Upto 4 digital signals with a nominal bit rate of 2048 kbit/s are interleaved in time by transmit section to form a digital signal with a nominal bit rate of 8448 kbit/s. The receive section recovers the four 2-Mbit/s signals from the incoming 8-Mbit/s signal

The MUX module which houses two slide-in units (each slide-in unit consists of two 2/8 MUXs) can be mounted in a standard 7R style slim rack. Each slide-in unit has an in-built power supply. The MUX module is connected via. an internal alarm bus (SIBUS) to an alarm signalling module which collects and displays fault signals and also forwards them to a central supervisory unit.
