In the era of liberalization and  globalization marked by intense competition and changing customer preferences, HTL as a Public Sector Enterprise, has surmounted enormous challenges in terms of broadbasing its product profile and enhancing the skills of its manpower. With the electro-mechanical technology becoming obsolete and Teleprinters (both Mechanical and Electronics) branded as vintage products of 1980s, the Company embarked on a diversification plan and entered into the following fields forming the telecom spectrum.
